Not really, no. There are alien species or extradimensional beings that have been worshipped as gods in my world. Some of them resemble humans on a superficial level. Humans can theoretically obtain equivalent power, but usually it takes some extraordinary circumstance or sacrifice, and usually it's a bad idea.
So he's a god on Earth, or thinks he is. Sounds like we're bound to have a fun brunch eventually.
